BLACKPINK Becomes The First K-pop Headliner At Coachella 2023!

JAKARTA - BLACKPINK has made great achievements in the international music scene. Their name was declared as the first K-pop artist to become a headliner at the 2023 Coachella music festival.

Today, January 11, Coachella released a list of line-ups that will appear at the United States music festival. Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK, and Frank Ocean will be headliners who will appear in two weeks in April.

BLACKPINK appeared on the second day, April 15 and April 22. This is their second appearance after becoming the first K-pop artist to appear at the festival in 2019.

On social media, fans welcome this good news by enlivening the hashtag #BLACKPINKxCoachella.

In the lineup of performers from Korea, Yaeji and DPR Live and DPR Ian had the opportunity to appear at Coachella.

BLACKPINK also became the headline at the British music festival, BST Hyde Park in July this year. This further proves that BLACKPINK has not stopped here.

Throughout the year, BLACKPINK, both group and individual, shined with their achievements. Pink Venom's song, which was released last year, reached the Billboard Global 200 rating for two weeks.

They also made their first appearance at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards which also ranked them as the first K-pop artists to appear. In England, Born Pink's album is the first K-pop album to get ranked first.

All of these achievements were obtained in the middle of a world tour currently being carried out by BLACKPINK. This year, they started their Asian tour with Bangkok. They are scheduled for a concert at the Bung Karno Main Stadium on March 11 and 12, 2023.
