JAKARTA - Singer Ellie Goulding has postponed the release of her new album, Higher Than Heaven.
In October last year, Goulding announced his fifth studio album by releasing the single Let It Die. This follows the release of Easy Lover and Goulding's collaboration single with Alok and Sigala, All By Myself.
Initially, the follow-up to Brightest Blue's album, which was released three years ago, was scheduled to arrive on February 3.
On Monday, the musician announced on Twitter that his album would be postponed due to several new "attractive" developments.
"To my amazing fans I announce that we postponed the release of Higher Than Heaven until March 24," Goulding wrote.
"I know you're all very patient with me, but we had some interesting opportunities that came up behind the scenes that I couldn't wait to share with you in time."
"Meanwhile, as a thank you for your patience, I am pleased to confirm that my new single is called Like A Saviour. It will be coming soon, we have recorded the video and this is one of my favorite videos I've ever made."

Despite being postponed, Goulding confirmed that he would still appear at KOKO, London on February 7 and 8.
