The Mayor of Tegal, Dedy Yon Supriyono, has been in the public spotlight after a viral video clip of himself embracing the dancer Ucie Sucipta while dancing on the stage of New Year's Eve.

Dedy and Ucie became a conversation after a video showing the two dancing on stage on New Year's Eve celebrations went viral on social media. The public regrets the incident shown by the Mayor of Tegal Dedy.

But different from people. Ucie actually defended and praised the Tegal Mayor's dancing.

"The mayor is also a true entertainer, that's how metal is. If it's on stage, it's rich, not the mayor, it's already rich as an artist. That's why I said I feel like a duet with an artist, it's really entertainment," said Ucie Supita to the media crew in the Cilandak area, South Jakarta on Friday, January 6.

Ucie assessed Dedy's behavior that embraced and held some parts of his body as a reflex to the euphoria on stage and the excitement of the audience.

Ucie also felt that euphoria on stage. "If I'm on stage, I feel happy. Because there are a lot of viewers, then it's good, the gig is good, until I don't realize it's a reflex," he said.

"We reflect, yes, sometimes it's rich to look after him too, right, but because he's all out, we just reflect on his busy appearance. Because the audience is also happy and singing together, the main thing is that the enthusiasm is just crowded," he continued.

Ucie also responded casually to comments from netizens. It is very natural for him to appear pros and cons to his appearance with the Mayor of Tegal.

"I responded, it doesn't matter, because it's already a consequence as an entrepreneur, there must be pros and cons of people to judge and receive it," he said.
