JAKARTA - Aldilla Jelita's decision to raise funds for Indra Bekti's medical expenses has been strongly criticized. Netizens even compared it to what happened to the family of another artist, Denada some time ago.

Denada in early 2022 had time to tell her condition when her child was undergoing treatment. Through Maia Estianty's YouTube channel, Denada said that she had struggled to make money to pay for the costs of her son's hospital, Aisya Aurum, who was being treated in Singapore for leuchemicals.

"During the pandemic, all existing ones were forced to sell, sell two houses, a car. So everything I can sell, branded bags, jewelry, anything," Denada said on MAIA ALELDUL TV's YouTube channel, Monday, January 2.

What Denada said can be said to be inversely proportional to what Dhila did, Aldilla Jelita's nickname. On the 4th day her husband was in the hospital, Dhila had intended to raise funds.

"I want to tell you that when we are a bit heavy, we are really trying, we want to open a fundraiser for Mas Indra. It seems that in the next 20 days Mas Bekti will be here (hospital). The cost is already big on this fourth day," Aldilla Jelita told the media crew on Saturday, December 31, 2022.

Even Dhila had announced through her Instagram that she had opened donations for anyone who wanted to help. However, not long after, she deleted the upload.

On the basis of this upload, netizens compared what Dhila did with Denada. "It's great, Sis Denada, for the sake of the hospital the child is willing to sell his assets without asking for a fundraising," wrote @meyshahanna.
