Peaceful With One Reporter, Baim Wong Hopes Other Reporting Other Also Toges His Made KDRT Prank

JAKARTA - Baim Wong managed to reach a peace agreement with one of the domestic violence prank reporters who became one of the content on his YouTube channel. However, Baim still has to face other whistleblowers who are not willing to forgive.

Baim, accompanied by his attorney, Machi Achmad, has met with Alfian Hasibuan who reported a violation of the ITE Law and agreed to make peace on Sunday, December 25 yesterday.

"The agreement has been submitted by Machi to the South Jakarta Police. Earlier, I also had an agenda to submit a letter of peace agreement, it has been attached, evidence has been given that there is peace," said Machi Achmad when met at the South Jakarta Metro Police on Monday, December 26.

He hopes that with this agreement, restorative justice can be reached and report revocation.

Even so, Baim Wong still has to face two other reports related to the violation of Article 220 of the Criminal Code. The attorney also hopes that the other two reports can be applied restorative justice.

"For the 220 (KUHP) reported by the Police Friends, we have written an official letter to the South Jakarta Police. We have also written an apology to the reporter. Just wait for the initiation from the South Jakarta Police to present the reporter and the reported party," said Machi.

Baim Wong's attorney stated that his client had communicated through an official letter to the police and had agreed to an apology.

Although he did not know clearly the responses of the other two whistleblowers, Machi stated that his party was still waiting optimistically for the invitation to make peace. "Yes, we are waiting for its nature, procedurally, we are just waiting for a reply from the police," he concluded.
