Gaib's Baby Film Makes Vino G Bastian Trauma With Small Horror Films

JAKARTA - Vino G Bastian is one of the actors who starred in the film Baby Ajaib which will be shown in theaters on January 19, 2023. The film is a remake of the original version which aired in 1982. The actor who was born March 24, 1982, admitted that he had his own experience with the film Baby Ajaib when he watched the film. “ Zaman used to be really traumatic. In one of the scenes about to take a shower, in the tub there is the head of an old man. That's very traumatic, ” said Vino G Bastian to the media crew in the Pancoran area, South Jakarta on Wednesday, December 21. Claiming to be traumatized by the original version of the Magic Baby and feeling that he was quite a coward, Vino revealed his reason for being willing to play in the horror film. “ When he was invited to play this film, he was very happy, because this magic baby film IP (intelectual property) was won by several production houses, and finally got Falcon. Actually, it's quite (scared), but because this legendary film continues to be remake again, it makes it difficult for me to refuse this offer. The characters and working on the story are also good,” he said. The husband of actress Marsha Timothy sees the remake of the Magic Baby as an opportunity for her to tell today's children that Indonesia used to have legendary horror films. “ Hopefully this film can be a generation connector, because many have not watched previous films that can enjoy this film and those who have watched it can be a memory. I think this could be a new offer for the rise of horror films in Indonesia,” he said. Not playing a lot in horror films, Vino revealed one of his difficulties while acting in the film Baby Ajaib. “ Because horror films work at night, the working hours are reversed. In this Magic Baby film the drama is also strong, the character Kosim that I play is strong. So the challenge in the dramatic part is also quite heavy,” he said.
