Meira Anastasia Inspired By Drakor To Put Laura Basuki And Ernest At Check Store Next To 2

JAKARTA - Check Shop Next to 2 combines Ernest Prakasa's collaboration with his wife, Meira Anastasia. But this time Ernest was made to compete acting with Laura Basuki as the new Natalie actor.

Through the sequel, Ernest will present a more in-depth story between Erwin and Natalie. This also involves Meira in the process of building her second story. Meira herself admitted that she was inspired by Korean dramas.

"I'm a lot affected by Korean dramas, especially the initial scenes. I already have an idea of how that scene happened," Meira Anastasia said at a press conference today, Monday, December 19.

"We want a short time, we can attract people to the end of the film and care about this couple. We want to make games but people relate," explained Meira again.

Ernest Prakasa also admitted that his wife's expertise in shaping this sweet moment. He also felt that his acting was much more improved than the first film.

"We know the gap is six years. But I think they understand the audience subliminally. We are more like a joke, but hopefully the audience won't mind that," said Ernest Prakasa.

"Ernest is so more relaxed in this second film. More fluid, more fluid because of Laura Basuki's guidance," said Meira Anatastasi.

On the other hand, Laura Basuki was happy to be able to join Check Shop Next to 2. He also got a lot of space to make adjustments as Natalie.

"I'm very happy this is the first collaboration with Starvision and Ernest and Meira. To build my own character, I watched the first one again," said Laura Basuki.

When you talk a lot, it's comfortable to bring out the dialogue. But I'm made easier with a good script so it reduces the burden on me as a player," Laura continued.

Through the sequel, Laura is told as Natalie who plans to marry Edwin, played by Ernest. But the relationship between the two got a ban from Agnes' mother (Maya Hasan), Natalie's parents.

Erwin and Natalie's relationship can be seen through the film Check Store Next to 2 which will be shown in theaters starting December 22.
