JAKARTA - Before holding the marriage contract tomorrow, Saturday, December 10 at Royal Ambarrukmo Plaza, the bride and groom, Erina Gudono and Kaesang Pangarep held a siraman procession in two different places.

According to the woman, Erina Gudono held a siraman procession at her family's house located on Jalan Lombok, Purwosari, Sinduadi Village, Mlati District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta at 9.00 WIB. Meanwhile, Kaesang Pangarep held a siraman procession at his home in Sumber Village, Banjarsari District, Solo.

Siraman itself is one of the traditional processions that Erina had to go through before getting married, which is a symbol to clean herself the bride and groom from negative things, so that they can enter the gate of marriage with a holy state.

Prior to the siraman procession, Erina Gudono appeared to have carried out the Cethik Geni procession first. Erina also seemed to her mother, Sofiatun Gudono before doing the siraman.

At yesterday's recitation event at the Erina family's residence, water for today's siraman consumption was prayed for first. "There is water for siraman, prayed for, hopefully everything is barokah, safe. Half of the water is sent to Solo, half is sent to Erina here after being mixed from several sources," said Abdul Muhaimin as Mimia's family representative when met in Sindudadi Village, Sleman.

The water used by Erina Gudono is water from 7 sources. The seven sources came from the Al-Wustho Mangkunegaran Grand Mosque, the Surakarta Kasunanan Grand Mosque, Mangkunegaran Temple, Surakarta Palace, Penggging Umbul in Boyolali, the water taken from the well of Kaesang's grandmother's house and water from President Jokowi's private house.

After the siraman procession, Erina will undergo a midodareni procession in the evening. At this moment, President Jokowi will attend the family residence of Erina Gudono in Sleman.
