Happy Expressions Vino G Bastian And Aghniny Haque Become Audience Actors And Actresses

JAKARTA - Vino G Bastian and Aghniny Haque should be proud after winning the 2022 Indonesian Film Festival on Tuesday, November 22 evening at the Plenary Hall, Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan.

Vino G Bastian, who starred in the film Miracle in Cell No.7, won in the audience's Choice Actor category and received the Benjamin Sueb Award. Meanwhile, Aghniny Haque, through his role in the film Suspicious Raden Saleh, won in theton Actress category and received the Rima Melati Award.

This victory was certainly achieved in a way that was not easy. Vino and Aghniny must compete with dozens of other actors and actresses to receive direct votes from the public.

Vino, who was chosen as the Actor of the Audience's Choice, admitted that he was surprised to learn that many viewers gave him a vote, considering that other actors also had a large number of supporters.

"If we look at other friends with extraordinary fanbases, I really didn't think about getting here (won). Suddenly the name was mentioned, I was shocked too. So thank God," said Vino G Bastian to the media crew after receiving the award.

On the other hand, Aghniny also expressed his joy at his first victory at the Indonesian Film Festival.

Seneng, I was also nervous about the time of the speech in front of me. I didn't expect to win, I was very grateful and happy. Because of the support of my family and also from Visinema who had made an iconic role for me, where I had to fight with a long dress. It was deliberately created by the character, and it turned out to be successful in attracting friends who had my vote. Thank you very much," said Aghniny after the victory.

Apart from actors and actresses, another category that gets direct votes from the public is the category of the Film of the Audience's Choice. The category was won by the film Suspicious Raden Saleh, which managed to excel from 29 other films.
