JAKARTA - A number of public figures raised their voices after their names were dragged into the report of alleged embezzlement of the Net89 trading robot. After Atta Halilintar, now it's Kevin Aprilio's turn to explain his position.
Kevin Aprilio admitted that he had joined to promote Net89 but the incident only took place once. He also mentioned the reasons why he was willing to promote the trading robot.
"Yes, it's true that I appeared at my friend's zoom meeting team to promote Net89, but it was only once," Kevin Aprilio said on Wednesday, October 26.
"Why did I want to give testimony at that time? Because my friend showed Net89 aka PT SMI had a SIUPL permit from the Ministry of Trade and became a member of AP2LI," he explained further.
Kibordis Vierra admitted that he did not know if Net89 had committed fraud against its users. He also explained that even though he was promoting, he never received money from Net89.
"So about in the middle of the trip a scam/companies failing to pay for it I don't know anything," said Kevin Aprilio.
"I have also never received a transfer from a member of Net89,” he said.
Previously, Atta Halilintar denied that he was involved with the Net89 trading robot. He held an auction whose proceeds would be submitted to the construction of the mosque.
"So at that time I conducted the auction of my first historical item (headband) with the aim of the auction proceeds will be used to help build a place to memorize the Koran and also help build a mosque," wrote Atta Halilintar.
"At that time it was impossible for me to ask the one-on-one everyone who said 'where did you get the money from to participate in this auction', especially since this is an open auction, right. Many took part in the auction and finally closed it with a predetermined date and time," he said.
Atta insists he does not know or engage with the Net89 trading robot in any form.
"So if you say I'm playing trading robots or in the Net89 trading robot. I don't understand at all and I've never traded robots," he said.
