JAKARTA - The Jakarta Film Week 2022 officially ends on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at the CGV Grand Indonesia. On the same day, the organizers also announced a number of winners of the festival.

Held from October 13-16, Jakarta Film Week 2022 presents various films from local and international. Therefore, they also expressed their appreciation by holding competitions with films that were shown through this festival.

Film mencurang Raden Saleh arahan Angga Dwimas Sasongko memenangkan Direction Award. Piala penghargaan diterima oleh Christian Immanuel selaku produser film.

"Thank you very much for choosing to steal Raden Saleh. This is my first trophy during my time as a producer," said Christian Immanuel on Sunday, October 16.

Even though it only aired in August, the film Suspicious Raden Saleh was also screened through Jakarta Film Week. This award is the first trophy the film received.

In addition, various foreign films also premiered through Jakarta Film Week 2022. Asmara Abigail, who starred in Stone Turtle from Malaysia, was very enthusiastic about this festival.

"We need festival films like this, where else can we watch international films that have traveled to various festivals abroad and finally be present in Jakarta, and there is also my film," said Asmara Abigail.

There is the film Stone Turtle, a film that was previously premiered at the Locarno Film Festival, last August, now airs in Jakarta Film Week. My other films, namely Galang and Dini Hari, also aired in Jakarta Film Week," he continued.
