Becoming A Suspect, Hotma Sitompul Perjuangkan Rizky Billar Irresistible Over The Domestic Violence Case

JAKARTA - Rizky Billar was declared a suspect in the domestic violence case to Lesti Kejora. This decision was announced by the South Jakarta Police on Wednesday, October 12 evening.

Billar also appointed Hotma Sitompul as a lawyer to handle his case. Today, Thursday, October 13, Hotma was seen visiting the Resort Police asking her client not to be detained.

"It's not a letter of suspension of detention but an application letter for (Rizky Billar) not to be detained," said Hotma Sitompul.

Rizky Billar faces up to 5 years in prison. However, as a lawyer, Hotma Sitompul will fight so that it doesn't happen.

"The threat of punishment is fine. But the reason I have to defend my client," said Hotma again.

"As a lawyer I have to submit a letter of application that is in accordance with the law," he continued.

Previously, Rizky Billar was declared a suspect after the police conducted an 8-hour examination. The evidence and information received completes the status.

The South Jakarta Police also detained Rizky Billar because he received sufficient evidence. However, Billar's status will be announced today along with Hotma's arrival to the Resort Police.

"The process is still ongoing, we'll just have to wait for it, hopefully the sooner the better, which is clear today is the decision," said AKP Nurma Dewi as Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Police.
