Against The Devils In The Qodrat Film Trailer, Vino G. Bastian:caping In The Heart

JAKARTA - Vino G. Bastian and Marsha Timothy competed in the film Charles Gozali entitled Qodrat. Interestingly, this film produced by Rapi Films and Magma Entertainment is Vino's debut in a horror film after a long career.

Qodrat tells the story of a Ustaz Qodrat (Vino G. Bastian) who is entrusted with building possessed people. One day, Qodrat returns to the pesantren where he studies religion and finds many strange phenomena around him.

Qodrat also met with Yasmin (Marsha Timothy) the mother of two children who experienced this. Qodrat also helped Yasmin and his children: Asha (Maudy Effrosina) and Alif Amri (Keanu Azka). But moreover, Qodrat is looking for his identity.

This two-minute Qodrat trailer features a Qodrat trip and meets villagers. On the other hand, he saw strange incidents that could not be explained.

Zafar (Randy Pangalila) who is also a Ustaz could not explain this phenomenon. The peak was when Yasmin collided with Qodrat to save Asha and Alif Amri.

The film Qodrat is a religious horror that also combines fantasy in it. Tensions and goosebumps make the Qodrat trailer arguably one of the different horror dishes. Marsha and Vino also felt that this film was a special project.

"Of course happy and proud. I reunite with Rapi Films and Mr. Sunil (Samtani), Mr. Charles after a long time. Reunion with husband after a long time," said Marsha Timothy.

"This is my debut in a horror film and hopefully it can stuck in the hearts of all the audience when it is released," said Vino G. Bastian.

Charles Gozali acknowledged that the presence of Qodrat among the crowds of horror films was not just following the interest. He wants sub-genres to be a variation in Indonesian cinema.

The horror is not something new but (Qodrat) is a journey from my learning to make better works. We also need a sub-genre so hopefully the Qodrat can become a horror film that is accepted in society," said Charles Gozali.

The film Qodrat also stars Cecep Arif Rahman, Jason Bangun, Pritt Timothy, Whaleni Darmawan, Agla Artalidia, Rezca Syam, and others. The film Qodrat will premiere on October 27, 2022 in Indonesian cinemas.
