JAKARTA - The film Until Tommrow was developed in the true story of Alan Tito, a man from Baubau, who was left forever by his wife, Daslina Sombi, three hours after they married on July 23, 2019. The story went viral on social media.

Director Hadrah Daeng Ratu said the process of adapting film stories was not entirely the same as the viral story. "We take their story as inspiration, but we develop the story of the film. The characters are different, not Alan and Daslina. But the spirit is the same, how do we appreciate the time to be with our loved ones. Give the best as if tomorrow we will die," Hadrah said when met at Kemang, South Jakarta, Wednesday, September 14.

Until Tomorrow stars Clara Bernadeth as Sarah and Deva Mahenra as Haka. In the film, Sarah and Haka are lovers. Sarah wants a marriage with the man of choice, Haka.

The journey to marriage was not easy. Sarah was sentenced to stage 3 cancer. However, Haka remained loyal to accompany Sarah to fight against her illness.

The situation was difficult to approach Haka when she was faced with two choices, work and her lover. According to Hadrah, this film is very touching. From the process of filming to editing, Hadrah always shed tears.

"I am too soulful, sensitive when I hear a touching story. But this film is more than I imagined. Usually, if the preview is for editing after three times the watch will be immune. This is not it, I have cried 10 times, I have cried 10 times," said Hadrah.

Hadrah admitted that he was interested in directing this film because it was not just talking about sadness. "This film is not just tears, we invite the audience to think again. What if tomorrow morning our loved ones suddenly leave? I hope that after watching it, not bringing a sad story but an inspiration to love you even better every day," he explained.
