Sustainance Due To Visibility And Mission, Fleet Will Hold A 15-Year Work Concert

JAKARTA - The band fleet will hold a single concert titled Concert 15 Years of Work which will be held in 15 cities in Indonesia in order to celebrate their 15th anniversary.

The Fleet name was formed in 2007 by five personnel including Rizal (vocals), badminton (guitar), Mai (guitar), Endra (bass), and Andit (drums). Previously, this band was named Paper which was founded in 2005.

Currently, the Fleet leaves Rizal, Mai, and Andit. access decided to leave the band in 2018 because they wanted to follow the call of the heart to explore religion, while Endra left the Fleet in 2020 after it was discovered that he had meningitis disease so he could not carry out his full activities.

The first city that will be visited by the Fleet is Medan which is scheduled for 8 October. Furthermore, the concert will be held in Banyuwangi, Pasuruan, Jambi, and Lampung. Meanwhile, concerts in the last 10 cities will be held in early 2023 with Palembang as the closing city.

Finally, after 15 years of waiting, we were finally able to travel around Indonesia with a single concert tagline. So far, we have quotes from people to be performers, but this time we are holding a single concert. We are not only performers but those who have events," said the vocalist of the Rizal Fleet in Jakarta, Wednesday, September 15.

"We are very touched. One of the Fleet's ideals for a single concert can be achieved at the age of 15 years. In the past, we imagined that we would make a single concert later on the 25th or 30th birthday. I didn't expect it to be this fast. We thank friends who support the Fleet from the first album to the last album," said Mai.

Rizal said the cities they were going to have been prepared for a long time. Realizing that Armada is a band from the region, Rizal said concerts would involve local bands in every city to be visited. Local band has the opportunity to appear as an opening to collaboration with the Fleet.

VP Content & Project Dev. SRN Entertainment Wahyu NS ensures that the concert ticket will be sold at affordable prices according to the audience's target. Details of ticket prices will be announced soon. Wahyu said his party targets the audience capacity of around 10 thousand people with the concept of a stage set up in an open field (outdoor).

He hopes that this 15-Year Working Concert tour can motivate Indonesian music lovers to continue to exist. According to him, 15 years is not a short time for a band that passes the ups and downs of Fleet travel and has many listeners who have a memory that is attached to each of its songs.

With this 15-year concert, all Fleet lovers here can have fun, can also sing together, and can also be closer to the Fleet. And of course it provides a different experience from existing concerts," said Wahyu.

It's not an easy journey to survive for 15 years for a band. Rizal, said that the similarity of vision and mission is one of the reasons or recipes why the band from Palembang still exists and lasts for 15 years even though there are currently only three personnel left.

"The vaccines are still the same, still want to keep working, still want to continue to give the best we have for all Indonesian music listeners," Rizal said during a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday.

"Even though there are three now, it's the same as our fifth album, the title "Forwards Continue to Stay Back", God willing, we can continue whatever happens," he added.
