Jakarta Film Week 2022 Presents The Spirit Of Collaboration, 24 Short Films Playing Freely

JAKARTA - After the success of last year's inaugural edition, the Jakarta Film Week (JFW) initiated by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Tourism and Creative Economy Office will again illuminate silver screens in the capital Indonesia. The main event will take place on 13-16 October 2022.

Ahead of the core events, interesting and new programs, such as: Producer's Lab, film award category, and also a number of other program activities have been prepared for road shows.

One of the programs at the 2022 Jakarta Film Week (JFW) Festival is opened with offline events, which are the result of collaboration with SAE Indonesia. The event with the theme Perspective Film: Watching The audience takes place on July 31, 2022 at the SAE Auditorium, Jakarta.

This event presented two speakers, namely Novi Hanabi as Program Managers of JFW and Anjas Artha Putra as Directors and Authors of the script, with Nada Bonang as the host.

This year JFW is back, and as a series of events, Road to Jakarta Film Week will be present. Today as the opening, we will discuss the point of view of film industry players seeing their work. That as industry players we need to understand how the audience perceives a film," said Novi Hanabi, as the JFW Program Manager.

The Road to Jakarta Film Week event continued with a second event, which is a collaboration with the Film Censorship Institute (LSF). This event is in the form of a webinar with the theme Film Festival as a National Film Promotion Strategy.

Road to Jakarta Film Week 2022 activities will still be running, and will collaborate with a number of leading campuses in Jakarta such as: Faculty of Film & Television - Jakarta Arts Institute (IKJ) on September 9, 2022, IDS Digital College on September 23, 2022, and also with Bina Nusantara University (Binus) on October 7, 2022.

It does not stop at holding offline and/or online discussions, with the spirit of collaboration with communities throughout Indonesia as well as educational agencies throughout Indonesia who are involved in Road to Jakarta Film Week activities will include their selected short films, which can be watched in general via Vidio.com.

There are at least 24 selected short film titles, which can be watched for free, until the end of October 2022, including: JAP HD Office - Semarang, Color Film - Semarang, Mata-mata Project - Malang, Adoc Production - Aceh, Keep Roll Films in accordate with Ravacana Films - Malang, Background Films - Palu, Kayu Hitam - Poso, MMD Creative - Malang, SAE Indonesia - Jakarta, BINUS Film & Animasi - Jakarta, FFTV Jakarta Art Institute (IKJ) - Jakarta, and International Design School (IDS) - Jakarta.
