JAKARTA - Dewi Lestari's loss could not be covered after her husband, Reza Gunawan, passed away Tuesday, September 6. The musician and novelist Dewi Lestari, also known as Dee Lestari, revealed the story about her husband's departure through her personal Instagram page.

Dee said that her husband died in a private house according to his wishes.

"On Tuesday, September 6, at the age of 46, Reza Gunawan passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, as he wanted him to," said Dee, quoted Wednesday, September 7.

"The philosophy is no longer here, but memories of him, the love he radiates, the knowledge he teaches, the principles he benefits, and all the healing touch he has shared, will always be with us," he continued.

Dee also expressed his gratitude to everyone who has given attention, support and prayers to Reza and his family.

"We are really touched to see how much and how much love has been poured out on Reza," said Dee again.

He also apologized if the late Reza had intentional or not mistakes.

"Our family can only say thank you deeply. Hopefully, Reza's virtues and good karma during life can bring him closer to perfect freedom," said Dee.

Reza Gunawan's body will be buried at Grand Heaven Pluit, North Jakarta and then cremated on Thursday, September 8 at the same place.
