JAKARTA - Acha Septriasa shared his experience when he played three characters in the film Mumun. He plays Mumun as well as Mimin's twin brother and Mumun's pocong.

Acha admits that playing three characters at once sometimes makes him very tired both physically and mentally because he has to be extra concentrated so that the three characters can still be played well.

"There was a point where I was tired because I had to act a day to be three characters. It was tired, I was tired physically and mentally. There was a point where I told Dimas Aditya that I was not strong enough," said Acha, quoted from ANTARA. , Friday, August 26.

To overcome this, Acha said he always remembers that what he does is for the sake of his five-year-old child.

Meanwhile, to distinguish the character of Mumun and his twin, Mimin, Acha uses a different Betawi accent. When he was Mumun, Acha had a dialogue with a suburban Betawi accent, while when he was a Mimin he used a Central or city Betawi accent.

"Mimin is more in Central Betawi, so it's more of (suffix) . If Mumun is a, Betawi Periphery. Mimin already works in the city, so when I have a dialogue with Mumun I distinguish a and . That's what I distinguish," he said.

As for her character as Mumun who has become a pocong, Acha shared that she spends about 45 minutes to an hour on makeup. He also admitted that he was confused with himself when he turned into Pocong Mumun,

Although playing three characters at once in one film is a very difficult thing for him, in the end Acha is satisfied with his appearance in the film.

"I feel satisfied with my appearance. In the film 'Mumun', the pocong is shown many times and I feel it is the most (weird) there," said Acha.

"If you watch yourself, you must feel a bit strange, right. Only after the film was shown, there were three characters in one film, and seeing yourself was incredibly satisfying," he added.

Besides Acha, the film Mumun, which is an adaptation of the soap opera "So Pocong", which was a hit in the 2000s, also stars Dimas Aditya, Volland Humonggio, Beddu, Ence Bagus, and Fajar Nugra. There are also Mandra and Eddies Adelia who previously played in the soap opera version. The film, directed by Rizal Mantovani, will be shown in theaters starting September 1, 2022.
