Doddy Sudrajat's Appeal Is Rejected, The Judge Believes Haji Faisal Because He Has A Whole Family And Has Income

JAKARTA - The father-in-law of the late Vanessa Angel, Haji Faisal, received a copy of the West Jakarta Religious High Court's decision which rejected Doddy Sudrajat's lawsuit over his grandson, Gala Sky Andriansyah. Doddy Sudrajat filed a lawsuit on April 25, 2022.

"The decision was known last week. Today we received a copy of the verdict," said Haji Faisal, Friday, August 5.

Lawyer Sandy Arifin explained the judge's considerations which made Doddy's lawsuit rejected. "The comparison means that Haji Faisal's family has a complete family, husband and wife, compact children, respects each other, supports each other, and then has their own income," he said.

In addition, Ananda Gala Sky is always cheerful, healthy and smart in the midst of the relative's family. "Gala Sky is getting smarter, fatter, and happier with the relative's family. So Haji Faisal's decision is strengthened as the guardian of a child named Gala Sky," he explained.

As a guardian, Faisal can represent all legal actions in court. Even so, Faisal had to give Doddy a chance to meet his grandson.

"Gala is in the care of her paternal grandparents with the obligation to give her maternal grandfather the right to meet the child," he said.

This decision was greeted with relief by Haji Faisal. He also hopes that there will be no illegitimate child narrative of his grandson. However, whether this decision is permanent, Sandy Arifin cannot be sure.

"This has been decided at the Religious High Court, we will see if there are other legal remedies from the other side after this," he said.
