JAKARTA - The trailer for the film Mumun was released on Thursday, July 28. Mumun and Mimin appear to open the trailer, both played by Acha Septriasa.

Mumun is an adaptation of the soap opera Jadi Pocong which was popular in the 2000s. Acha Septriasa also competed with the Jadi Pocong players, namely Eddies Adelia and Mandra. The film produced by Dee Company also stars Dimas Aditya, Volland Hummongio, Bedu, Ence Bagus, and Fajar Nugra.

Mumun is told that he died and became a pocong because Husein forgot to open his pocong rope. Pocong Mumun wanders around spreading terror to haunt the villagers. In addition, Mumun also wanders around looking for Jefri as if he wants revenge.

The green color is thick in the trailer. This suggests that Mumun will not abandon his soap opera pocong character whose eyes are green. Pocong Mumun appears closing the trailer.

"I didn't use a stunt double when I was a pocong. So in total I have three roles in Mumun," said Acha Septriasa.

According to him, being a pocong is not something scary, but rather challenging. "If there are experts in make-up. But acting as a pocong is the challenge is limited movement but still must be able to make people afraid," he explained.

Curious about his appearance? The film, starring Acha Septriasa, will premiere on September 1.

"Many are curious and ask when it will be released. It's time for Mumun to return to the cinema. Hopefully, Mumun's film will be accepted by the public," Dee Company Producer Dheeraj Kalwani hoped.
