JAKARTA - The Marvel production house invites audiences to reminisce with the first trailer for the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. This two-minute trailer takes a look at what happened to Wakanda.

The trailer is accompanied by Kendrick Lamar's Alright. The video shows a view of Wakanda from its nature, increasingly sophisticated technology, and a funeral where the Wakandan people wear white clothes.

"I am the Queen of the strongest nation in the world, and my whole family is gone," says Ramonda, played by Angela Bassett.

One of the scenes also shows a T'Challa mural by Chadwick Boseman. As is well known Boseman passed away in August 2020 before production of the sequel began.

The trailer ends with a person wearing a superhero costume and unleashing his powers. However, it is not known who this figure is.

The trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premiered at the Marvel panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Ryan Coogler is back as director for the sequel.

Coogler admits he had a hard time after being left by Chadwick Boseman. But he is sure, the Black Panther will be proud to see what he did with this film.

"It's been five years since I've been here. I'm sitting here and we're releasing the first footage of Black Panther and T'Challa, we're sitting next to me, the late Chadwick Boseman,” said Ryan Coogler.

In this sequel, Ryan Coogler said there are many new sides of Wakanda that will be shown first. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever stars Lupita Nyong'o, Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira, Florence Kasumba, Michaela Coel, Dominique Thorne, Alex Nivilani, Mabel Cadena, Tenoch Huerta and Winston Duke.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will conclude phase four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and hit theaters November 11, 2022.
