Not Reboot Or Spin-off, Lacuna Coil Re-releases Album Comalies With Contemporary Taste

JAKARTA - Heavy rock team Lacuna Coil will release the album Comalies XX, featuring original versions of the songs Deconstructed and Transported.

Back in 2002, Lacuna Coil released a classic album full of songs that made them a legendary band.

Now, twenty years later, the current line-up of Lacuna Coil has decided to revisit the songs. Not only re-recording as before, but also deconstructing and transporting it to 2022.

"This isn't a reboot or a spin-off or anything like that," said Lacuna Coil vocalist Cristina Scabbia.

"We just wanted to give these songs a 2022 dress and see how this man or woman born 20 years ago will still look great in 2022," he continued.

Set to be released on October 14, Comalies XX features the following track list:

Lacuna Coil will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Comalies album, by performing it in its entirety in a one-night concert on October 15 at the Fabrique di Milano.

Lacuna Coil's third album was released on October 29, 2002 through Century Media Records. The full album, which featured the breakthrough single Heaven's A Lie, sold over 300,000 copies in the United States alone.
