Iqbaal Ramadhan Has A Big Mission In The Trailer To Steal Raden Saleh

JAKARTA - The production house Visinema Pictures presents the first trailer for the film Steal Raden Saleh. The film, directed by Angga Dwimas Sasongko, tells of a major robbery mission by six student children.

Six students consist of Piko (Iqbaal Ramadhan), Ucup (Angga Yunanda), Sarah (Aghniny Haque), Gofar (Umay Shahab), Tuktuk (Ari Irham) and Fella (Rachel Amanda).

This first trailer shows how well the six students planned. In some scenes, they launch an effort according to their respective positions.

That neat plan doesn't always go smoothly. This creates a conflict between the six of them which also threatens the robbery mission. They come with their own goals but have to face the division of the group.

“During Visinema, this was arguably the most ambitious and energy-consuming project. After years, we finally have a production that transcends scale and complexity,” said Angga Dwimas Sasongko as director at a press conference today, Wednesday, June 29.

Heist action genre, Angga Sasongko said this film is a form of admiration for art. He also wanted to bring something new in the world of cinema.

“I have a love for art. I've always wanted to make something with art. Maybe this is a way to present Raden Saleh to Indonesia," said Angga.

Iqbaal Ramadhan also agreed. He said, the film Stealing Raden Saleh increased his sense of knowledge with the arts in Indonesia.

“As long as I live, art is the furthest. I grew up with music then movies. Because of this film, I have curiosity, affection and art," said Iqbaal.

"So there is no reason to reject this project. I think this is one of the moments I should not miss in the history of my career. I've also never been directed by Angga," said Angga Yunanda.

The film Stealing Raden Saleh will be screened in Indonesian cinemas starting August 22, 2022.
