Losing In Court, Amber Heard Now Says She Still Loves Johnny Depp

JAKARTA - After losing in court against Johnny Depp, Amber Heard made a statement openly admitting that she still has feelings for and loves her ex-husband. Heard confessed that he loved Depp with all his heart.

Then, said Heard, during his relationship with Depp he always tried to do his best. But he failed to mend the relationship that had been damaged and was getting worse. He claimed to have no ill intentions or feelings towards Depp.

"I tried the best I could to make a very broken relationship work. And, I couldn't. I had absolutely no bad feelings or ill intentions towards her," he said on Savannah Guthrie's Today show, quoted by Time.

Amber Heard was found guilty of defamation case involving Johnny Depp. The case became popular and widely discussed over the years. Heard, who had to pay compensation of Rp. 151 billion to Depp, realized that he was not a good and perfect person.

"I am not a good person, I understand. I am not a pleasant person. I am not a perfect person. When I testify, I ask the jury to only see me as a human being and hear his own words, which is a promise to do this," he said.

Regarding the outcome of the court's decision, Heard admitted that he was afraid of what people would think and think about him in the future. In fact, he was afraid that if one day he spoke out, no one would believe what he had experienced.

"I fear that no matter what I do, no matter what I say and how I say it, every step I take will present another opportunity for this kind of silence, which I think a defamation lawsuit should have," he stressed.

Not only that, Heard also felt that during the trial a lot of slander was directed at him as a human being which also affected his credibility. So that the results of the trial made him labeled a liar by all means.

"I feel so much of the trial is meant to slander about who I am as a human being, my credibility, to call me a liar in every way he can," he explained.

Furthermore, Heard emphasized that his efforts during the six weeks of trial was the best step and the best decision he had ever made to defend himself and uphold the truth.
