Celebrating 18 Years Of Debut, Lee Seung Gi Denies Breaking Up With Lee Da In

JAKARTA - In the midst of celebrating the 18th anniversary of his debut, actor and singer Lee Seung Gi raised his voice about his relationship with Lee Da In. It is known that the two have been in a relationship since May 2021.

After that, in recent times, there have been many rumors that the two have ended their relationship. Lee Seung Gi denied through an official statement uploaded on Sunday, June 5.

"I think the relationship (Lee Seung Gi and fans) over the past year was at a time when we lacked communication so after much deliberation, I will open up," wrote Lee Seung Gi.

"The first reason why I don't talk (about the relationship) is because I believe my opinion will not be conveyed in words," he explained.

He worries that the more he talks, the more misunderstandings between him and fans. In addition, Lee Seung Gi did not want his statement to spread to other rumors.

"I'm afraid that what we are talking about will be leaked to the media or become another rumor, which will hurt other people and be used as gossip," he said.

Lee Seung Gi stated that there had been no change in his relationship since the news went public. He also felt there was no need to explain anything about his relationship with Lee Da In.

"I will not comment on that. I'm sorry if you're angry about this and I want to calm you down. Please judge me for my shortcomings and I ask for your understanding," concluded Lee Seung Gi.

Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In are reportedly dating since the end of 2020 by Dispatch. This relationship received a negative response from the public because Lee Da In is the daughter of actress Kyeon Mi Ri who was suspected of stock manipulation in 2009.

The statement was released by Lee Seung Gi in the midst of celebrating his 18th debut as a singer and actor in the South Korean entertainment industry.
