Bringing Love Song, Reza Artamevia Appears Energetic At Java Jazz 2022

JAKARTA - Solo singer Reza Artamevia performed a series of love-themed songs that were popular from the 90s to the 2000s at the Java Jazz Festival 2022, Sunday, May 29.

Before singing the song "Our Love", he told the audience to be grateful when he found someone he loved in life because according to him love is the most beautiful gift given by God.

"So don't let jealousy, negative thoughts, or whatever grow, because love is more beautiful than all of that," said Reza as quoted by ANTARA. The songs that Reza brought included “One Can't Get Rid of” and “Pertama” which were part of his first album “Keajaiban” (1997).

Then there are the songs "Eternity", "I am a Woman", and "Cintakan Brings You" which are included in the album "Keabadian" (2000) and the songs "Putus" and "Cinta Kita" in the album "Keyakinan" (2002).

Reza also performed the song "True Love" which he recently released. “Cinta Sejati” is a remake of a popular song by Melly Goeslaw performed by Bunga Citra Lestari in 2013.

In addition, Reza performed a cover of "Ain't Nobody" by Chaka Khan, an American singer known as "Queen of Funk-Soul".

The series of songs brought a nostalgic feel to the audience. They filled the stage area in the JIExpo Kemayoran field while enthusiastically singing the songs that triumphed in the era of the 90s to the 2000s.

Coinciding on that Sunday, May 29, Reza celebrated his 49th birthday. The happy birthday song echoed before Reza opened his performance. He also had time to develop the song in front of the audience. Meanwhile, her daughter, Aaliyah Massaid, also came on stage while bringing flowers for her.
