Jaz Releases Cause You're My Schatzi, Transitional Album

JAKARTA - Singer Jaz has launched a single titled Cause You're My Schatzi. This song will mark the release of his second album titled Transition which will be released this month.

The song Cause You're My Schatzi is Jaz's collaboration with Ari Lesmana and Andy Armand from Fourtwnty. According to him, this song carries a different pop genre from what Jaz usually sings.

“I was invited to the studio to hear them sing the song live instead of a demo. It's hard to describe. Finally, they told me to try singing the song,” said Jaz. Transition album. “Cause You're My Schatzi” is the song with the longest take vocal process, starting after Maghrib until 03.00 am. However, the result is not used and we take it again on a different day," said Jaz.

This is a new experience for Jaz to explore the genre and move out of his comfort zone. The story became the main theme of Jaz in the album Transition which is interpreted as change. “In this second album, I was more involved. For example, making a moodboard, seeing the music schemes that people like today, learning what music promotions are like out there. I got all the transitions from meeting many people,” explained the singer whose real name is Jaz Hayat. Jaz also works with a number of musicians such as Asta RAN, Handy Soulvibe, Bona Pascal, Eka Gustiwana, Lalahuta, and a friend from Brunei. There are 8 tracks that will be included in the new album including Cause You're My Schatzi. Completing the release, Jaz plans to hold a showcase which will be held in the near future. Meanwhile, the song Cause You're My Schatzi can be streamed starting today, Friday, May 13.
