JAKARTA - Drama House of the Dragon will air on August 22. This drama is adapted from the series by George RR Martin entitled Fire and Blood.

This 10-episode drama, set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, revolves around House Targaryen. Quoted from ANTARA, Monday, May 9, House of the Dragon stars Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D'Arcy, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Fabien Frankel, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans.

King Viserys Targaryen (Paddy Considine) is chosen by the rulers of Westeros to replace the Old King, Jaehaerys Targaryen, through the Great Council in Harrenhal. A warm, kind and polite man, Viserys only hoped to carry on his grandfather's legacy. However, good people don't always make great kings.

Prince Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) as King Viserys' younger brother and heir to the throne. A warrior and dragon rider like no other, Daemon has the pure blood of the dragon. But as it is said that when a Targaryen is born, the gods will toss a coin.

Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke), the daughter of Otto Hightower, the Hand of the King, and the most beautiful woman in the Seven Kingdoms. He grew up in the Red Keep, close to the king and his immediate surroundings; he is a figure who is graceful and polite as well as shrewd for political affairs.

Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy), the king's first daughter, she is of pure Valyrian blood, and is a dragon rider. Many are

said Rhaenyra was born and had everything… but she wasn't a man.

Lord Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint), “The Sea Snake.” Lord of House Velaryon, has a Valyrian bloodline that is the same age as House Targaryen. As “The Sea Snake,” an adventurer in the seas famous throughout the history of Westeros, Lord Corlys built his empire to become the most powerful place even richer than the Lannisters and claimed to be the world's largest naval force.

Princess Rhaenys Targaryen (Eve Best), a dragon rider and wife of Lord Corlys Velaryon, "The Queen Who Never Was" who was authorized as heir to the throne by the Great Council because the kingdom favored her cousin, Viserys, just because he was a man.

Ser Criston Cole (Fabien Frankel), is a descendant of Dornish, an ordinary boy from the servant of the Lord of Blackhaven. Cole has no land rights or titles; what he has is because of having the honor and having supernatural skills with his sword.

Mysaria (Sonoya Mizuno), who came to Westeros with nothing, was sold so many times that she can't even remember the amount. He may weaken… but he rises to become a confidant – and more so – in alliance with Prince Daemon Targaryen, the heir to the throne.

Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans) as the Hand of the King, Ser Otto serves faithfully and respectfully to both the king and his kingdom. As he observed, the greatest threat to the kingdom came from the king's brother, Daemon, and his position as heir to the throne.
