JAKARTA - Jurassic World Dominion is said to be the last film in the Jurassic World franchise. This fact was revealed by the main actor, Chris Pratt in his appearance on the Today Show recently.
“30 years in the making – this is the sixth Jurassic film and the end of the franchise. Is it really over?” asked Savannah Guthrie on the Today Show.
"I really think it's over," said Chris Pratt.
Pratt explained as seen in the trailer, Jurassic Park players also joined in this last film.
"You can see there's players like - Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Jurassic World players, our storyline flows like the last story," explains Pratt.
The 42-year-old actor still doesn't expect to meet the three actors he previously saw in films as a child. Now, they will work together through Jurassic World Dominion.
“I saw Jurassic Park for the first time when I was 13 years old - I never thought I would become an actor… and these actors are in my mind as icons. So working with them is a dream come true,” said Chris Pratt.
Jurassic World Dominion will tell the story of Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) after Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in 2018. Now they are fighting to save the baby Blue Raptor.
The plan, Dominion will end the second trilogy of Jurassic World stories. Director Colin Trevorrow hasn't said whether the Jurassic story has a chance to continue.
Jurassic World Dominion is set to premiere on June 10 in theaters.
