Becoming A First Time Mom, Priyanka Chopra Reveals Pictures With Her Son

JAKARTA - Priyanka Chopra is celebrating her first year as a mother. In celebration of Mother's Day on May 8, Priyanka shared the story of her struggle to have a daughter with Nick Jonas.

Some time ago, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas announced that they were parents of a child through a surrogacy process. At that time they did not upload a photo of the baby until Priyanka finally showed off her family photo.

In a post uploaded Monday, May 9, Indonesian time, Priyanka uploaded a photo of holding a tiny baby. Nick Jonas beside him seemed to be holding the baby's hand.

"This Mother's Day, we reflect on the past few months and the rollercoaster we've been through, which of course many people feel," wrote Priyanka Chopra.

“After 100 days in the NICU, our daughter is finally able to go home. Every family journey is unique and requires a different level of belief and we also go through a challenging journey."

Shortly after birth, Priyanka Chopra did not mention that the baby needed treatment in the NICU. But now he revealed the fact and also thanked the hospital.

“We are delighted our son is finally home and would like to thank every doctor, nurse and specialist. The next chapter starts now and our baby is a great person," added the Baywatch star.

Priyanka and Nick also did not mention the full name of the baby. They just call MM as his nickname.

“Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers and carers in my life and out there. You guys make it really easy. Thank you And… thanks for making me a mom @nickjonas I love you,” said Priyanka Chopra.

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra welcomed their son by surrogacy in April. Reportedly, they use surrogacy because they are so busy that it is difficult to find the right time.
