JAKARTA - The production house Warner Bros. released the first trailer for the film Don't Worry Darling, directed by Olivia Wilde. This film features Florence Pugh and Harry Styles as the two main stars.

This psychological thriller tells of Alice (Florence Pugh) who lives with Jack (Harry Styles) in an experimental town called Victory. Jack also gets a job for the Victory Project as well as a number of interesting perks.

The Victory project is led by Frank (Chris Pine) who says the project aims to change the world. But on the other hand, all women were asked to stay at home and not participate in the project.

Accompanied by Oogum Boogum from Brenton Wood, the trailer for Don't Worry Darling opens with intimate moments of Jack and Alice. Those starting a new life in Victory enjoy a night out with their neighbors.

But the situation changed after Alice saw a woman about to fall from the roof of the house. He also saw a woman mentioning men like to lie about everything. Slowly, Alice realized she was in the wrong cult.

Don't Worry Darling also stars Olivia Wilde herself, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, Nick Kroll, Sydney Chandler, Alisha Heng, Douglas Smith, Dita Von Teese, and many others.

When launching the premiere preview at CinemaCon, Olivia Wilde said Don't Worry Darling is a film that will remind audiences of Inception, The Matrix and The Truman Show.

“This is my love letter to a film that pushes the boundaries of ambition. Imagine a world where you can have everything you want, not just real things… but useful things – true love with a partner, true friendship,” says Olivia Wilde.

Don't Worry Darling is Wilde's second film after Booksmart in 2019. He also said the film was designed to hit theaters.

Don't Worry Darling will hit theaters September 23, 2022.
