There's Animatronics Doll, Jessica Mila Has Difficulty Acting In The Doll 3

JAKARTA - Jessica Mila co-starred in the film The Doll 3. Interestingly, they got a new experience of acting and interacting with a doll.

An animatronics doll is presented as the central character in this film. Jessica Mila as the main character revealed that there were challenges when acting in The Doll 3.

“This is the first time there is an Indonesian film with animatronics dolls. I think it's challenging, because there's definitely a difference between acting with humans and with puppets," said Jessica Mila to VOI today, Wednesday, April 27.

"If humans can give reactions, they can talk and work together. Yes, the dolls in the film can express expressions, but their emotions are different from humans," he explained.

Jessica Mila's answer also mentioned that sometimes they had to stop filming because dolls often had to be repaired.

"I have to talk to him like my own sister. But when shooting, the dolls often have to be fixed in the middle of the take," added Mila.

The Doll 3 is the last film in The Doll universe, directed by Rocky Soraya. This film tells the story of Tara (Jessica Mila) who feels lost after being left by her parents and younger sister, Gian (Zizie Zidane). Tara also puts Gian's spirit into a doll named Bobby.

Bobby's presence actually changed Tara's situation. Hitmaker Studios' The Doll 3 will premiere on May 26, 2022.
