JAKARTA - Britney Spears had announced that she would take a break or hiatus from social media, through an upload on her Instagram, on Monday, April 25. The decision was taken to keep her pregnancy healthy.

"I will take a break from social media for a while! I send my love and may God bless you all," wrote Britney.

The news of Britney taking a break from social media was conveyed just two weeks after she and her fiancé, Sam Asghari announced that they were expecting their first child. Britney had revealed that she was having a hard time, because in her previous pregnancy she faced depression.

"So I took a pregnancy test and I got pregnant. It was difficult because when I was pregnant I had perinatal depression and it was absolutely terrible," Britney said when announcing her pregnancy.

However, Britney's announcement that she chose to take a break from social media was actually greeted positively by her fans. They wish Britney and her baby good health and hope that she can enjoy her time pregnant.
