JAKARTA - Aliando Syarief returned to acting by contributing his voice for the film Warkop DKI Cartoon. He shared his new experience of wearing dentures to fill in the voice.

“Dubbing as Dono, the problem is in the (false) teeth. So this dental property was made first because of my negligence, I didn't ask directly. In the end, I immediately put my teeth together so I could balance them," said Aliando Syarief in the Showcase 7 of Falcon Pictures' New Film in South Jakarta.

"There was bleeding between his teeth because there were wires in his teeth that hit the gums. Because maybe it was fast. Because maybe he was eating fast, put it back on, wanted to take it, and it was bleeding," he continued.

But on the other hand, the incident has passed because Aliando said that the production of this film had been completed two years ago.

"We have worked on this cartoon warkop, believe it or not, two years ago before the pandemic," said Aliando.

His co-stars, Adipati Dolken and Indro Warkop also shared their experiences in voicing for Warkop DKI Cartoon.

"We don't go through the script, so we just have to read it," said Adipati.

"We have just experienced dubbing, we have to imagine being the character of the card," said Indro Warkop.

Furthermore, Indro Warkop said that the Warkop DKI Cartoon film needs to be supported so that Indonesian animation continues to develop.

"Indonesians who become animators have a lot of misfortune abroad. We want to provide support for Indonesian animation because we already have the resources," concluded Indro Warkop.

The Warkop DKI Cartoon film will be screened in Indonesian cinemas starting December 29, 2022.
