JAKARTA - Eid in 2022 will be special for the community because they are allowed to go home after two years of not being allowed to have music due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Even so, Anya Geraldine said she could not gather with her family during this year's Eid because she had to work abroad.

"This year, when I was Eid, I didn't go home because I had work. I had to (take part in the photo session) outside, so I didn't go home. I went to Paris from April 25 to May 3. Lebaran seems to be on the 3rd, yes, so Eid is not together family," said Anya as quoted from ANTARA, Thursday, April 7.

During the month of Ramadan, Anya is also busy filming. Anya admitted that she really wanted to get together and spend the moment of fasting and Eid with her family. He hopes that gatherings with extended families can still be held other than the month of Ramadan.

Gathering with extended family is a moment that Anya misses. Especially before the COVID-19 pandemic, gathering with family was more flexible. This is different from the current situation where there are still concerns about the transmission of COVID-19 and they have to do an antigen swab test first.
