YOGYAKARTA - For Muslims, the month of Ramadan is a special moment to undergo many acts of worship. Because this month full of grace has priority. In addition to the obligation to fast, during the month of Ramadan one learns how to control oneself and do good deeds.

In order to be more motivated to practice Ibadah and goodness in the month of Ramadan, quoting from various sources, this is the priority of the Ramadhan month.

1. A month full of forgiveness

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

Meaning: "Whoever fasts Ramadan because of faith and only expects a reward, his past sins will be forgiven." (HR. Al-Bukhari)

From the words of the Prophet SAW above can be understood that during the month of Ramadan sins will be forgiven because of faith and reward. Muslims who fast for faith will be kept away from the fire of hell.

2. Prayers are answered

The priority of the second month of Ramadan, every prayer offered will surely be granted. This priority is based on the words of Rasulullah SAW in HR. Al-Bazaar with the following tsiqah narrators:

Meaning: "Indeed, Allah frees some people from the fire of hell every day in the month of Ramadan, and every Muslim when he prays it will be granted."

Another hadith about the granting of every prayer in the month of Ramadan, follows the words of the Prophet SAW:

Meaning: “Three people whose prayers are not rejected; the one who fasts until he breaks his fast, the just leader, and the prayer of the oppressed. ” (HR. Tirmidhi; HR. Hasan)

3. The month of the revelation of the Qur'an

A month full of blessings, Ramadan is also the time of the revelation of the holy book of Muslims, the Qur'an. The words of Allah SWT:

Meaning: "Some days that are determined, namely the month of Ramadan, the month in which was revealed (the beginning) of the Qur'an as a guide for mankind and explanations of the guidance and the distinction between right and wrong." (QS. Al-Baqarah: 185)

4. The gates of heaven are opened wide, the gates of hell are closed tightly, and the devil is bound

In the holy month of Ramadan, disturbing demons are shackled in hell with the doors tightly closed. When Muslims perform the obligation of fasting, the gates of heaven will be opened. The priority is expressed in the words of the Prophet SAW:

Meaning: "When Ramadan arrives, the gates of heaven are opened, the gates of hell are closed, and the devil is shackled." (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim)

5. Lailatul Qadar Night

The night of Lailatul Qadar is the night of a thousand months full of glory. One of the nights in this month of Ramadan, is a night that is better than a thousand months or equal to 83 years 4 months. Tonight is the time of the revelation of the Qur'an.

Allah SWT says:

Meaning: "Verily, We have sent it down (the Qur'an) on lailatul qadar (night of glory). And do you know what the night of glory is? That night of glory is better than a thousand months. ” (QS. Al-Qadr: 1-3)

This night of glory occurs in the last 10 days of Ramadan. At that time, the doors of heaven are opened, the prayers offered are granted, and destiny occurs at the appointed time.

6. A month full of rewards

Fasting in the month of Ramadan gets a multiplied reward. Because this month full of grace is called the month full of reward. In the following hadith the words of the Prophet SAW:

Meaning: “Whoever fasts (in the month of) Ramadan, then one month is the same as ten months. And (whoever fasts after that) fasts for six days after Id (Syawal), it (equal in value to fasting) is perfect for one year. " (HR Ahmad)

That is the priority of the month full of grace that is obtained by undergoing all the practices, both obligatory and sunnah.
