JAKARTA - Marshanda has not appeared on television for a long time. This is clearly different from his teenage years, which often enliven the small screen. Sunday, March 27, Marshanda uploaded a video containing his response when he read several comments that said he no longer existed on television.

Through the TikTok video he made, he felt relaxed when he was called non-existent. "If you ask me when I was 15 years old, when I was filming anything, there were a lot of soap operas from my time," said Marshanda.

"I also don't know, at the age of 32 what I will feel when asked a sentence like that, and I no longer appear now in the media or on TV," he continued.

Once famous in her time, Marshanda feels she has found what she wants in life and it doesn't matter how often she appears in the media.

"And I found myself feeling fine. I just realized that what I'm looking for from a life of satisfaction comes from not the quantity I appear in the media," he said.

He himself said he was focusing on living his life to be of benefit to those around him. Marshanda explained that one of them is to provide awareness about the bipolar disorder that he is living.

"However, how can I give hope to people who are down, or maybe have mental health challenges like me, when I open up about my bipolar disorder," said Marshanda.

"And that raises awareness in Indonesia about mental health and I can change many people's lives. Because they have the hope of surviving and continuing to advance like me. That is more important than selling out in the entertainment world," he continued.
