JAKARTA – Happy news from the family of President Jokowi, his younger brother, Idayati, after being proposed by the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court, Anwar Usman. The wedding is planned to take place in May.

The figure of Jokowi's 55-year-old sister is not widely known to the public. Idayati is one of the three younger sisters of the number one person in Indonesia for two terms, in addition to Iit Sriyantini and Titik Relawati. These four brothers are sons and daughters of Notomiharjo and Sudjiatmi.

Idayati has one son and one daughter. Her husband died of a stroke in 2018. Then admitted that he was introduced by the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court, Anmar Usman, by a friend.

Ida also shared that her daily activities are as a housewife. She explained, “As a housewife, my husband used to work.”

Her late husband, Hari Mulyono, was a friend of Jokowi's study at the Faculty of Forestry, UGM Yogyakarta.

Anwar Usman's application was held on March 12, 2022 at the Solo City Hall. This was confirmed by the Mayor of Surakarta, Gibran Rakabuming Raka. However, he was not present at the application procession. The reason is, he is still undergoing a period of self-isolation for COVID-19.

Idayati was born in a year when Indonesia's political situation was uncertain. He was born on May 26, 1966. His mother, Sudjiatmi, wrote in the book Saya Sujiatmi, that she thought that her daughter was a 'miracle' baby figure because she could go through uncertain times at that time.

Dr. Anwar Usman, SH, MH, is a man who was born in Bima on December 31, 1956. He served as Chairman of the Constitutional Court for the period 2 April 2018 – 6 April 2026. His wife, Suhada Ahmad Sidik died on 26 February 2021 due to heart disease.

At one time, Ida admitted that since his father died, his eldest brother, Joko Widodo, had played a role in replacing the father figure for his younger siblings. This simple and beautiful woman plans to marry Anwar Usman in May 2022.
