Red Velvet Tributes To Sebastian Bach Late Feel My Rhythm

JAKARTA - K-pop group Red Velvet officially made a comeback with the release of the mini album The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm. This album marks a new era for the SM Entertainment group.

Contains five songs, Red Velvet champions Feel My Rhythm as the main single. This classic pop dance track is sampled from Johann Sebastian Bach's Air on the G String. Uniquely, this song was released on Sebastian Bach's birthday on Monday, March 21.

The lyrics contain a pleasant journey with beautiful music. The music videos take concept paintings from well-known artists such as John Everett Millais, Hieronymus Bosch, Claude Monet, and others.

“When you look at our album, the visuals will remind you of a floral scent so it's visually appealing. When you hear our music, it feels like there is a floral scent in the air," said Wendy.

Through his new album, Feel My Rhythm, 516,886 copies have been ordered as of March 20. This is the highest number of pre-orders for Red Velvet.

“I started the day with a good feeling. Thank you. I think many fans are waiting for me. We want to make happy memories together," said Seulgi.

“One of the reasons I love Red Velvet is that I always look forward to what they come up with for a new album. Every time we announce a new album, we don't do the same (concept)."

This comeback is not the only Red Velvet release in 2022. They promise to come back with a new album in the upcoming season.

"We've had a lot of comebacks this year, so we want to be queens for all seasons," said Joy.

Red Velvet fans called Reveluv welcomed their idol's comeback by making the hashtag #RedVelvetComeBach the trending topic to date. Red Velvet's hashtags and the song Feel My Rhythm have also been trending since their release.

Red Velvet's The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm can be heard both physically and digitally starting Monday, March 21.
