JAKARTA - Singer Prince's album with alter-ego Camille will be released this year. Reportedly, the label Third Man Records to be the party to release this album.

In 1986, Prince wrote and recorded an album called Camille, his feminine alter ego characterized by high pitch and androgynous fashion. However the album was deleted after the first press test.

Ben Blackwell, the founder of Third Man recently did an interview where he mentioned their label will be releasing Camille.

"We will release it. Prince's folks agree - it's almost too easy," Ben Blackwell quoted NME as saying.

All tracks from Camille's album will be released including some already released tracks such as Housequake, Strange Relationship, and If I Was Your Girlfriend. These three tracks are included in Prince's album, Sign o' the Times.

The track Good Love is the soundtrack for the film Bright Lights, Michael Bay's Big City and Rockhard in a Funky Place are included in The Black Album. In addition there are Rebirth of the Flesh, Feel U Up, and Shockadelica.

Prince sometimes uses pseudonyms to separate the music he writes as a sign of ownership. Some of the names he uses are Jamie Starr and The Starr Company, Joey Coco, Alexander Nevermind, and Christopher.

Meanwhile, Third Man Records has not shared the release date of Camille's album.
