JAKARTA - Turning Red is Disney's newest animated film which was released last week. This film features stories related to music and is equipped with catchy songs.

Apparently, there are the figures of two well-known musicians who fill Turning Red's songs. They are Billie Eilish and FINNEAS, two brothers who are known for a number of hits.

Billie Eilish and FINNEAS along with composer Ludwig Göransson wrote all the music featured by fictional boy band 4*Town in the film Turning Red. FINNEAS even filled in the vocals for member Jesse.

"Writing (Turning Red) songs has been one of the most enjoyable writing experiences," Billie Eilish said in a video shared by Disney Pixar.

“When we got an offer for this project, we immediately took the opportunity. Songs with 2000s boybang style, very fresh, choreographed, applause, and harmonies,” said Finneas O'Connell.

“We wrote three songs, one of which was a confidence booster. One is a ballad about love. The other is all that people know,” explains Eilish.

The Happier Than Ever singer said he was happy with Turning Red's story because he felt he could connect with his story.

“There is a bond that exists when you meet people who feel the same way. And I love this film," said Billie Eilish.

Turning Red tells the story of Meilin Lee, a Chinese-Canadian teenager who befriends Miriam, Abby, and Priya. They like a boy band called 4*Town and want to meet their idol.

One morning, Meilin turned into a giant red panda when her emotions exploded. Since then he has been afraid to interact with other people for fear that people will find out about his condition.

Turning Red can be seen on Disney+ Hotstar from March 11.
