JAKARTA - The band Green Day has canceled a concert scheduled for May 29 at Moscow's Spartak Stadium due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
"It is with a heavy heart, given current events, that we feel the need to cancel our upcoming show at Moscow's Spartak Stadium," Green Day said in a statement.

Green Day is the second musician to cancel a show in Moscow. Earlier on Friday (25/2), pop artist AJR also canceled its concert scheduled for October.
According to the artist's website, Songkick and other sources, in Moscow there will be shows from Saint John, Tricky, Disclosure, and Bring Me the Horizon scheduled for March and April.
Meanwhile in May there were concerts of Khalid, OneRepublic, Yungblud, Girl in Red, Judas Priest, Denzel Curry and OneRepublic.
