Reza Rahadian Changes Profession To Singer In Timeline Films

JAKARTA - Reza Rahadian co-stars with Anya Geraldine and Michelle Ziudith in the film Timeline. The film, which is based on the best-selling novel by Fiersa Bersari, is scheduled to be broadcast simultaneously on February 24, 2022.

Timeline tells the story of Sena, an indie musician whose life changes after he meets and falls in love with a girl named April. Coming from a wealthy noble family, the couple's relationship was hindered by the blessing of their parents.

Their relationship was opposed by April's parents for some reason. Until one day, the figure of Sanya appears who can help Sena become a successful musician. Is it really just because Sena's profession is just a cafe musician

Reza Rahadian got the unusual role of Sena. According to the story, Senandika often appears at the cafe singing indie songs. So that in the film Reza performed three songs by Fiersa.

"For singing, there is an opportunity to learn the song first. We finish the music first, I was given what the song looks like, because actually singing songs, and that's my profession in films," said Reza Rahadian at XXI Plaza Senayan, South Jakarta, Tuesday.

Reza explained that it took an in-depth discussion between himself and the director because the singing style displayed was the singing style of his character.

"We discussed it first to make sure it was not my way of singing, but a Senandika. His soul is a band boy, his style is different. So it's not Reza Rahadian who sings," added Reza Rahadian.
