JAKARTA - Cynthia Lamusu returns to music with the song Move It which was released on Tuesday, February 22. Through her new song, Cynthia wants to express her appreciation and joy for the healthy lifestyle she is leading.

"This is an old song that I wrote in 2008 and it's been a long process," explained Cynthia Lamusu at a virtual press conference on the same day.

The song Move It, which was composed with Kenny Gabriel, is one of the songs Cynthia wrote in 2008. Thanks to the collaboration with Kenny, this song comes with a disco genre and uplifting lyrics.

"The inspiration is because I often hear '80s songs, so when I mix the music at the workshop with Kenny, the mood is like that," said Cynthia.

Cynthia Lamusu chose the title Move It as an expression of her joy because of the healthy lifestyle she has lived for five years.

“This is a kind of celebration after five months of living a healthy lifestyle where I have become healthier, one of which is my weight. For the past five months, I have changed my nutritional diet and then exercised by running,” he explained.

This healthy lifestyle made Cynthia Lamusu feel a change, one of which was that she did not experience severe symptoms when she experienced COVID-19 some time ago.

"I was positive so because it is related to our strong immunity," continued the ABThree member.

Combining the side of music and her healthy life, Cynthia feels that music has never been a limitation for a 43-year-old woman.

"When we talk about music, there is no limit, the discussion is universal and the best thing is there is no age limit," closed Cynthia.

The song Move It by Cynthia Lamusu can be heard digitally starting today, February 22.
