Funeral Wills Are Hilarious, Dorce Admits He's Embarrassed Before Dropping And Being Treated At The Hospital Again

JAKARTA-Dorce Gamalama's health condition is currently declining due to her diabetes. There is even news that Dorce is currently in a coma and hospitalized.

The news started from the upload of the Instagram account @rumpi_gossip on Thursday, February 10, which showed his condition which was still lying weak.

"This is a video before he went into a coma, please pray for his good. Currently he is being treated again in the hospital," wrote the account @rumpi_gossip.

In the video, Dorce, whose body looks thin and wears a gray scarf, conveys a message to his fellow artists, that he feels very open if someone wants to visit him.

Dorce said he would have great respect for anyone who wanted to see him and did not want to appear begging out of shame.

"Artists who want to see me, want to visit, I don't force me to be visited. Thank you. And I also respect that anyone can visit me. Anyway, I'm a guest, I will respect it, I will respect it, but if you can't, Yes, I've been begging, I'm ashamed," he said.

In the midst of his current slump, Dorce had expressed his desire to be buried as a woman if death came for him. He stated this through Denny Sumargo's Youtube account on January 23.

"After the operation, I became a woman and had a female genitalia. So if I die, I want to be buried as a woman," he said.

Dorce's request also received a reaction from several scholars. Among them are Gus Miftah and Buya Yahya. Both argue, under Islamic law, Dorce's request is not justified. However, the public should also not insult the figure of Dorce for his wishes.

“A man, who is born a man, is then changed into a woman, in essence he is still a man. How to treat a male corpse, because he is not a real woman," said Buya Yahya on Al-Bahjah TV's Youtube account on January 23.

"He is still an expert in faith, not out of faith. If he dies, may Allah forgive him. If he is alive, don't imitate him because of his great sin, but if he dies, don't sin, wong he is a believer. If there are friends who are being tested by Allah, we want to connect with them to have a special chat, not to be insulted and then cursed or not," he said.

Dorce was born as a boy on July 21, 1963 in Solok, West Sumatra with the real name Dedi Yuliardi. At the age of 20, he decided to undergo a gender transition by surgery by a plastic surgeon at Soetomo Hospital, Surabaya, named Prof. Dr. Johan Marzuki. Since then she changed her identity as a woman and chose the name Dorce Gamalama as her stage name.

Until now there has been no clarification from the family about the news that Dorce is in a coma and the location of the hospital where he is being treated.
