SEVENTEEN Vernon Invited To Collaborate With Charli XCX!

JAKARTA - Vernon's name was on the trending topic of the Twitter network on Tuesday, February 8. This is known because his name was mentioned by singer Charli XCX.

The tweet started with Charli XCX who wrote, “How can I contact Vernon?” In an instant, fans mentioned the K-pop group SEVENTEEN's Twitter account, @pledis_17.

Then, Charli mentioned the account and said, "Hi @pledis_17, want to collaborate?"

Seeing the tweet from Charli XCX, SEVENTEEN fans called Carat immediately asked Vernon to immediately reply to the tweet.

Vernon is known to really idolize Charli XCX and his music. On several occasions, he often recommends the artist's songs to fans.

“I was in a hip-hop unit but I still sing in the shower. Charlie XCX! We get our inspiration from American pop," Vernon said during an interview with W Magazine.

Vernon also mentions Charli XCX's songs on Instagram several times, one of which is Forever.

The interaction between these two musicians from different continents is not the only thing that has happened. Previously, there was Coldplay with BTS which produced My Universe, as well as Lady Gaga and BLACKPINK for the song Sour Candy.

SEVENTEEN is currently undergoing solo activities after promoting with Attacca in October 2021, while Charli XCX is actively collaborating with a line of singers, one of them is Rina Sawayama.
