Ahmad Dhani's Dream If He Becomes President Of Indonesia

JAKARTA - As one of the leading musicians in the country and active in politics, Ahmad Dhani is known to care deeply about the development and quality of the music industry in Indonesia. He has hope that in the future local music can be as big as in America or South Korea.

Dhani even has plans to advance the quality of Indonesian music if he becomes the number 1 person in Indonesia.

"Suppose I am the President. I will send as many musicians as possible who want to live in America. I will pay for it. They will have children there, be educated there, born there. Later when they are 20 years old, I will collect them," he said. Dhani on David Bayu's Youtube channel, Monday 7 February.

The idea was certainly raised by Dhani not without reason. The frontman of the Dewa 19 band seemed to imitate the success of the global K-Pop epidemic because there was a big contribution from the government.

For Dhani, if South Korea can succeed through K-POP which is loved by the global community, of course Indonesia can also do the same thing even though it takes a long time.

"They (South Korea) have been preparing for it (quality music industry) maybe 20 years ago," concluded Ahmad Dhani.
