Read Remy Sylado's Poem, Jajang C. Noer Slips A Special Message

JAKARTA - Claiming to be very familiar with the multitalented artist Remy Sylado, senior actress Jajang C. Noer, seems not to want to miss the social activity aimed at healing his best friend. Carrying the theme Prayer for Remy Sylado, Jajang was one of a number of acting performers who participated in reading Remy's poetry at the Small Theater, Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), Central Jakarta, on Friday, February 4, 2022 afternoon.

One of the poems by Remy that Jajang C. Noer read is 'President'. Interestingly, at the end of the poem he adds a special message to the figure who is thought to be running in the 2024 Presidential Election. The figure is believed to be the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan, who was scheduled to attend but failed to come and was replaced by the Head of the DKI Jakarta Culture Service Iwan Henry Wardhana.

"The president. The first president flirted with the communists. The second president flirted with the capitalists. The third president flirted with the second president. The fourth president is impossible to flirt with," said Jajang reading the President's poem.

"So remember, which one is the next presidential candidate. Use your eyes, use your eyes," he added.

After carrying out his duties, Jajang admitted that his favorite Remy work was Ca-Bau-Kan which was directed by Nia Dinata in 2022. Although he does not deny that he likes almost all of his friends' works because of his warm personality.

"She is full of love. If she meets a beautiful woman like me she will definitely hug her. Her warmth is extraordinary. I once directed her in the soap opera Not an Ordinary Woman, when I asked to play, I immediately agreed and believed in me," he concluded.

Remy first had a stroke in 2019 and was taken to the hospital. At that time his condition improved and was taken home. He then had a stroke again in 2020. Remmy Sylado was last called for treatment at the hospital in December 2020. After that, this writer underwent outpatient treatment at home and is now starting to improve after receiving assistance from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
