Go To Polda Metro Jaya, Ashanty Vs Martin Pratiwi Case Enters A New Stage

JAKARTA - Ashanty, visited the General Criminal Division of the Polda Metro Jaya for the continuation of the case in 2019 that dragged his name. He was sued by his business partner, Martin Pratiwi, with case number 66/Pdt.G/2019/PN Pwt at the Purwokerto District Court.

He was sued for being considered a breach of contract in the cosmetic business cooperation. Previously the case was handled by the Tangerang District Court, but in the end it was transferred to the Purwokerto District Court.

The inaugural trial took place at the Purwokerto District Court but did not last long because Ashanty and his attorney were not present. Chief Justice M. Arif Nuryanta decided to postpone it until November 20, 2019 and was finally found not guilty.

Ashanty came to Polda Metro Jaya using a purple Alphard car with number B 411 AHY wearing all black clothes at 13.50 WIB. He came to find out the progress of his counter-report to Martin on the defamation charge.

"The agenda was that my report was called, Alhamdulillah, since when did it arrive, and Alhamdulillah, he said today there will be good news for me," he said.

Although the incident occurred about 3 years ago, Ashanty admitted that he would continue it until it was completed.

"Yesterday's report is an old case, which is defamation. God willing, he said today he has become a suspect," he said.

When mentioned further, Ashantu refused to comment and waited for the good news to be heard later by the authorities. "I'll go in first. Later, yes," he concluded.

Ashanty's feud with Martin started from the skincare business. Martin, who is familiarly called Tiwi, has known Ashanty since 2015. After getting acquainted, they collaborated by creating the Ashanty Beauty Cream brand with a capital of IDR 475 million and agreed to share the profits in half.

After running, in April 2019 an addendum was made because there were additional Ashanty premium/platinum products. The addendum did not mention the period of cooperation.

According to Tiwi, during the collaboration with Ashanty, he only received a total of Rp 1.1 billion even though his business turnover reached 18 billion.
