MANADO - In order to anticipate increased consumption in order to welcome Christmas and New Year, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi carried out extra dropping or additional 3 kg LPG stock of 66,000 tubes.

Sales Area Manager of Retail North Sulawesi and Gorontalo, Angga Yudiwinata Putra, in Manado, Saturday, said this addition was to anticipate increased consumption, especially on holidays and long holidays.

Angga added that Pertamina carried out this extra dropping in accordance with the projected increase in demand and has coordinated with the Provincial Government.

Pertamina added 3 kg of LPG stock spread across 12 regencies and cities, namely for North Minahasa Regency, Manado City, Bitung City, Southeast Minahasa Regency, Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency, Minahasa Regency, South Minahasa Regency, Tomohon City, Kotamobagu City, South Bolaang Mongondow Regency, and East Bolaang Mongondow Regency. , this addition is expected to meet the needs of the people in the area.

In addition, Angga also explained that the supply of LPG in North Sulawesi, for the availability of LPG in North Sulawesi Province, was supplied from 6 Elpiji Bulk Filling Stations (SPBE), 64 Public Service Obligations (PSO) and Non PSO agents with a total base of 3,878 LPG 3 Kg Bases and Non PSO LPG Outlets to meet the needs of the community.

In line with this, the Area Manager for Communication, Relation & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi, Fahrougi Andriani Sumampouw explained that LPG 3 Kg is a subsidy item.

"This 3 Kg LPG is a subsidy item intended for users of the household sector, micro businesses, target farmers, and target fishermen, so it needs supervision from many parties in its distribution," he said.

Fahrougi also appealed to buy 3 kg LPG at the official base.

"We urge consumers to buy 3 kg LPG at the official base, because the prices sold are in accordance with the Highest Retail Price (HET), the quantity is maintained and the community does not need to panic buying or make excessive purchases, we seek sufficient stock for the needs of the community during this moment," he said.

Fahrougi also explained that apart from LPG 3 kg subsidies, Pertamina also has non-subsidized products and urges them to buy in official places.
